Klosterneuburg is the third biggest city in Lower Austria and has about 30.000 inhabitants. There is an indoor swimmingpool (Happyland), a bath on the sidearm of the river Danube as well as other places for various activities.
You can visit the Stift Klosterneuburg, a monastery founded in the 12th century, where there are a lot of things to see and do. The town center and the Stift is reached by bus (15 minutes, until 12 pm).

Also a visit to Vienna is very interesting, for instance the Stephansdom or the Prater (Austria's largest amusement park). The connection to the Viennese Underground is reached by bus (25 minutes).

A lot of possibillities for other activities, especially hiking, offers the nearby Vienna Forest, reached in 10 minutes on foot from the Scoutcenter.
